If an event is $22, generally $20 goes to the prize pool and $2 per player is the entry fee. In the hold'em games, whether they be structured or not, there generally will be two blinds. But we got boxed in by room availability. In stud games at these low limits, there is no ante but the low up card by suit must open the action for a predetermined amount.

Another important item I noticed watching Tiger win is that he didn't have to play brilliantly down the stretch. You never want to make things easy for you opponent. Evidence of this can be found when he shows down weak hands after raising or if he is simply raising way too many pots to realistically be playing solid Fulltiltpoker. If they win more than one seat, they may sell the subsequent entries.

Although Fulltiltpoker certainly isn't a sport, many similar characteristics that serve an athlete well also serve a poker player well: a competitive nature, emotional toughness, ability to perform under pressure, ability to think quickly, and perhaps most important of all, the ability to win the battles with oneself. Phil might act up once in a while, fellow Fulltiltpoker legend John Bonetti says, but there is no more highly principled man in poker, and no more generous one. All of this math pales in comparison to some more important strategic considerations, though. But no, Texas Dolly has no plans of stepping aside.
This is a huge mistake that even the biggest nitwit should see right through. Another difference between one-table satellites and super satellites is that rebuys are allowed (and encouraged) to build up the prize pool in a super satellite. You don't need to pull cash out of your wallet to buy chips. First, if you are shortstacked in any way, such as if your M is lower than 5 (for a more detailed discussion on M, please refer to Dan Harrington's second book titled The Endgame), M being your total stack divided by the current size of the pot if you are the first player to enter, you should be actively looking for a situation where you can move all in with almost any two cards.

Some other things you should know about the squeeze play are that it is best to wait until later in a tournament to execute it as the blinds are far too small in the early stages. Your goal now should be finding places to stick all of your money in the pot and then hoping you don't get called. After the final (fourth) betting round, there will be a showdown or a bet and fold. Just because I limp in with J9s in middle position and the flop comes JT5 does not mean I'm going broke on the hand or even losing a lot of chips with it in the early stages.
